WhenNote is a date notebook and date calculator designed to keep personal data collection to a minimum.
Data stored on your device
Your notebooks, date entries, descriptions, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives this information.
Optional Google Drive backup
If you connect Google Drive, WhenNote requests only the Google Drive appDataFolder permission. It does not request your name or email address. Backups are uploaded only to WhenNote's own hidden app-data area, and the app cannot access your other Google Drive files.
Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy. Disconnecting stops future access but does not automatically delete existing backups.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
WhenNote does not contain advertising, use developer analytics, sell personal information, or track users across apps or websites.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete it, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. With automatic backup enabled, WhenNote keeps up to five recent cloud backups and removes older versions.
Children
WhenNote is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
