FAQ
No weather?
Make sure location permission is granted and the device is online. Weather refreshes every 30 minutes from MET Norway's public API. If location or the network fails, the app quietly falls back to showing the time only.
Use it without location?
Yes. Turn off this app's location permission in system settings; the clock is unaffected.
Ads or data collection?
No. No ads, no analytics, no account, no developer backend. See the privacy policy.
What does "auto Do Not Disturb" do?
Android only. After you grant access, the clock switches the system Do Not Disturb to "alarms only" while it is in the foreground and restores it when you leave. This is changed on the device only and never leaves the device.
Does the screen stay on?
While the app is showing, it asks the system to keep the screen awake. For long desk-clock use, keep the device plugged in.
Can I use the app in English or Japanese?
Yes. The app is available in English, Traditional Chinese and Japanese and follows your device language by default; you can also switch it under Language in Settings. The weekday on the clock face has its own setting — choose Auto to follow the app language.
Can the time be bigger on a tablet?
Yes. In Settings, set Text size to Full and the time scales up to fill the screen.
